Angies Musings
Quilting and being creative. #AngiesMusings #QuiltingKeepsMeStrong
Southwestern Mesa Valley Quilt. Making a little headway into my backlog of quilt tops this evening.
I spent the weekend quilting with some of the nicest and most talented ladies. We started with yummy coffee and a trip to the local quilt shop. The quilt retreat location was serene with relaxing paths for walks, had minimal and often times no cellular service, and included yummy healthy meals. Rori thought of everything – from several ironing and cutting stations to ensuring the retreat staff were tipped for their excellent service and so much more. I finished two quilt tops! I don’t think I’ve ever sewed this much in a three day period before. I may need to learn to pace myself next time and take more breaks. 🧵🪡📍Can’t wait till next time!
Startching, ironing, and cutting fabric with coffee! Getting ready for a quilting retreat next weekend. The prep work is almost as much fun as knowing I am getting a whole weekend to “check out” and to be creative. ❤️🥰
Cold morning here in California. Perfect morning for warm coffee, warm Snuggie robe, Missouri Star quilt making YouTube videos, and sewing pretty hearts.
Anyone interested in joining this mystery block of the month sew along? I am going to use a Fat8th my stash for this one.
