The last couple of days have been a whirlwind and I am so thankful for a restful Sunday, my husband, and my close friends who put up with my crazy ideas. The Pleasanton Quilt/Sewing Convention was this week and I’ve been waiting a few months for this event because I wanted to see if I could obtain a great deal on a tall person quilting desk AND I DID! The only challenge was I had to arrange for pick up and delivery from the event on the last day. Well as it turns out, my new furniture would NOT fit in Don’s truck and it weighed ALOT. The manager and staff at our local Home Depot loaned me their truck Saturday morning. Then I called Cathy and we went on the adventure to pickup my purchase. Once I got home, Don and John helped me to unload it. Oh my goodness what a job this was! Today I will spend time making room and setting up my new space. I also picked up a few cool new tools, patterns, and fabric (my haul pics included). Don’t mind me – just doing a little happy dance here and highly recommend arranging purchases this way but maybe asking the vendor to deliver heavy items. 😉💃
A very productive day of sewing! 🧵✂️ All the pieces are cut and partially assembled, and I’m loving seeing it come together. Tomorrow I’ll finish it up! 💕🪡

I’m trying something new …. In the hoop quilting. It’s embroidery with fabric scraps and batting. Isn’t this adorable!?! It’s a mystery quilt along. This is block 9 and I have quite a few to do to catch up.
